Whiteness is
notable.
This is one of the Small
Whites. It is fairly distinctive being noticeably smaller than the two
species with which it can be confused - the Small White and Southern
Small White, A. rapae and A. mannii. It also has a much whiter

I've found ergane from
the southern Pyrenees through southern France, central Italy and into
Greece. It is usually very local but evidently widespread.
